Career Investigation & Planning  

 Our society requires that you be ready to change careers multiple times in life.  At last count, we expect that people will have 12 jobs before they are 35.  At TLE Christian Academy, we work to help each student create multiple career paths based on both current economic situation and  projected futures (as documented by the U.S. Department of Labor).

We help our students both in acquiring transferrable skills and testing out some possible career paths.  We believe the business community is an exciting place, one where our graduates will excel.  We offer internship and apprenticeship programs.  In addition, we look for ways to help our students to create portfolios of their work so that when they graduate, they have hard evidence of their performance.

Career Ladder

Using the Career Ladder tool, we set skill goals and objectives at each developmental level.  We ensure that our students have the opportunity to experience general situations such as teaching a class or leading a team, as well as making sure they address specific requirements of their chosen field(s).
