CLASS SCHEDULE
A regular week at TLE Christian Academy consists of five days - Monday to Friday. However, in order to allow TLE families maximum flexibility we have divided the week into two periods: Monday - Thursday and Friday, each offering its own focus. TLE Christian Academy is following a block schedule. There are two blocks per semester. Every block is 90 minutes long. For High School Students each block result in 1 High School Credit. For Middle School Students the block is divided into two 45 minute classes, seen above. Exceptions are: 1) Middle School Student lunch is two and a half hour long and includes lunch, walking to Park or when bad weather to the Library; 2) Latin which is 45 minutes long and lasts all year given 1 credit; 3) Bible is an all year long class and is only half an hour long. High School Students will receive .5 - 1 credit depending if extra assignments have been completed.
ONGOING ACTIVITIES
DROP OFF: Students should be dropped off on the back of the building. If they are late or
for whatever reason will be absent they need to call prior.
From 8.00 we will serve freshly baked bread with butter and jam in the kitchen
WORSHIP: Students are encouraged to play a role in the annual worship band whether they play a music or
not
LUNCH: Students are to bring their their own lunch. Refrigerator and microwaves are available.
Students who have forgotten their lunch may call home.
Students are not allowed to leave the premise to go out and buy lunch
(Kennesaw has a 8.30-2.30 curfew)
BIBLE: During the year we will be covering various themes from the bible. Sometimes these themes will
include all students and sometimes they are divided into different age groups. We will be using several different bible translations. The discussion following each reading will focus
on the practical application of the bible. These studies will result in one high school credit.
PICKUP: Students should be picked up before 4.00pm. Parents who are late in picking up their student or
who have arranged for anyone else to pick them up have to give prior instructions to the
administrator.
