Sometimes I wonder if it makes sense to describe an admissions process as there are so many variations on the theme. Knowing this, these are the steps or events that take place in general.

The first step in the registration process is of course, to have all your questions answered. Therefore, please contact our office by phone or email and we will get back to you within 24 hours to answer any question you may have. We are proud of what TLE Academy can offer and want you to have a good understanding of who we are and what we can do for you and your child. Please ask for John or Ellen Ahlberg and they get back to you ASAP.
Step Two: Interview - best done in connection with a school visit
If you are interested in TLE Academy, we encourage you to ask for an on-site interview. Why not schedule it for a day when your child can sit on on class. We invite you to join us the whole day, and then schedule time after the school day for answering any questions and explain in more detail how it all works and what we can offer for your student. Our goal is that you will leave with an indication on whether we feel we can offer the solution you desire for your child.
Step Three: You show your interest in pursuing an enrollment
This is no commitment from either part; however, it is your show of interest and you mark your place in the enrollment line. What you have to do is to fill in the Contact form that you received in Step two and send or give to us with a check of $100. We will then be able to discuss what the next step can be. Sometimes it is to meet again, now with the whole family, for the student to get assessed by Ellen or for the student to visit again.
Step Four: Assessment and our decision
At some time in the process when we all feel it is a likely good fit between us, we will schedule you for a one-to-one and a half hour of assessment (described in more detail on this site) with Lori Moore. At this meeting you need to present a check for the assessment of $250. Lori will typically be able to respond to Mr. John within 24 hours. At this time the Leadership Team will assemble to consider all facts and assessments and will reach a decision if TLE Academy is a win win win situation for the child, parents and school. At this time we will also present any conditions or recommended summer activities.
Step Five: Your decision to enroll
Once you have decided to join the TLE family, you confirm this by completing and signing an Enrollment form.
